Hai, I would like to reduce my weight, if there is any way to reduce my weight without the excersise. What about the food and all ?
Hi there Saranya. Thanks for sharing your question with us. Yes, you can reduce your weight by eating the right foods for your body and your goals. However, exercise will support a healthy metabolism as well as a healthy mind and spirit. If you want to “feel better” than I highly suggest combining eating only whole foods, taking in a proper amount of water per day, and doing at least 30 minutes of exercise 3 days a week. You can take a walk, a hike, bike ride, take a dance class, whatever makes you feel good. Merry Christmas!
I just read your blog post on Tiny buddha about Transforming Negative Thoughts and Creating the Life you Desire …it was brillant and honestly written !! I can so relate to everything you were saying !!!
In the last year i have had a major shift in my life, transformational . I am always working on looking at what I can do to be more aware of myself, my thoughts, beliefs that get in the way of me having peace and love within me so i can have the quality of life that i deserve and share with others!!!
I am an 53 year old mother of three that was undiagnosed with ADHD until my late thirties and always struggled with low self esteem, feeling broken and not really understanding why i felt so disconnected , my negative self talk would lead me to ruminate ( which is a big ADD trait) and eventually lead me to depression. On the outside i looked happy, always up. had many friends ,always positive easy to be with . no one knew how that inside I was struggling and how hard it was sometimes to just get myself out of that ruminating place and move on. Fortunately for me in the last few years I got myself on the right medication, hired a ADHD coach and started to educate myself about my own ADHD and how it shows up. I now have the awareness to really look at what I am doing but taking those old negative thoughts and pausing to put new nice positive thoughts in place of the old negative ones. In the beginning it was so hard to just pay attention to that self talk and stop and say nice positive things to the new me that i was creating. I can honestly say it has almost become second nature and more of the new positive thoughts are giving me peace and love for self . I do a lot of roll playing and talking to myself which really does help . I actually had an incident the other night that resignated with me and I started to go to that old me with the negative self talk. one of the rituals I have is to start journaling my thoughts. This time as I was rereading what I had written i could actually witness the new me saying something in a angry way.It really was shocking. We dont even realize half the thoughts and what they are putting out there that can get in the way of so many things. This just goes to show you that even though i am feeling really positive about me and the new positive self talk , there is always something new to learn and work on.

I don’t know who you are but I know that I was led to your page when I heard Him say “google: when the going gets tough just keep going” and told me to message you. There are things about your life that no one understands even you and you find different paths t channel your curiosity. He has put major ideas and plans on the inside of you but you need help to see them come to the ultimate possibility. His ability to do through you and in you is immeasurable and if you were to tell the truth about the dreams and plans you have people would laugh and call you crazy…a dreamer even. The power that you know is there….Is there and He wants you to come to Him and speak with Him so He can heal where you’ve been broken, hold you where you need to be held and set you truly free from frustration, anxiety, pain, confusion and give you Hope and a future. Thus says the word of the Lord concerning your life…and He says what you truly desire to see in 2011 you will see if and when you surrender to Him.

I was thinking about our conversation and wanted to share a little more with you. I felt like I was completely taken care of in India and it was so easy to be present, spritual all day, and nutured by the dasas and Sri AmmaBhagavan. Coming home and living in our day to day lives is the biggest challange which is why I didn’t want to leave the womb of India and am ready to go back. Anyone can go to India and be spiritual all day. It’s maintaning the sacred and God realization at home that’s not so easy in dealing with others, our work, LA and ourselves. Being in India, is a piece of cake or I should say chapati :). Hey Lauren. I feel you sister! It can be SOOOOOOO scary and unfamiliar and uncomfortable to sit in the feelings that get kicked up in the face of big change. Ugggh, I get it. Breathe, get still and quiet for as long as you can each day, even if its only a few minutes.
